Ultrasonic Cleaners & Transducers
Ceramic transducers and state-of-the-art ultrasonic cleaning systems set us a world apart from our competition.
Throughout the world, you can find Crest Group companies that manufacture, sell, and support ultrasonic cleaners and transducers — including Crest Ultrasonics, Advanced Ceramics, Martin Walter, and Uthe.
The best sub-micron cleaning available today
Our company’s primary ultrasonics breakthrough occurred when we discovered better cleaning through leveraging the third harmonic. The direct stacking of ceramic transducers to an exact high frequency (before only available as subharmonics of metal stacked frequencies) allows us to significantly increase activity levels while eliminating the damage to sensitive parts that is associated with metal stacking.
How good are the cleaning results using our Third Harmonic Ceramic Transducers?
Here are just some recent results:
- A disk media manufacturing facility cut its process time in half and got the cleanest disks ever
- Another similar facility improved its yield by 4% – and the equipment paid for itself in 79 days
- A Japanese slider fab application increased yield to 100%
- A military application using solvent improved process time by 40%
- An Asian solvent/alcohol application for cleaning and drying produced the highest HSA yield ever recorded, with sub-micron specifications
- PCB board cleaning is seeing the best results ever recorded
Today we manufacture both Push-PullTM transducers, offering up to three times the life of ordinary transducers and near-perfect transmission of sound, as well as durable immersible transducers with a Ceramically Enhanced Bar design that permits simultaneous multiple frequencies.
Our ultrasonic cleaning systems
All-purpose line of aqueous industrial cleaning systems — Designed for a wide range of process cleaning, manufactured with 40 kHz Ceramically Enhanced Ultrasonic Transducers.
Solvent industrial cleaning systems — Including low-flash-point solvent, non-flammable solvent, vapor dryers, and vapor degreasers.
Powersonic benchtop cleaners — Full-wave 45 kHz Ceramically Enhanced Industrial Transducers in a benchtop line. We supply all units with either 0-30 minute analog or 0-99 minute digital timers and the heaters are thermostatically controlled. If you compare other benchtop cleaners, be sure to compare features because there really is no comparison.
Megasonic cleaners — Megasonic Sweeping has many benefits over traditional megasonics as it eliminates damage caused from the uneven power surges normally present in megasonic tanks. These surges are evident by observing the ridges and fogging that are present on the liquid surface. Where there are surges the power is extremely high, away from the ridges there is little power and little cleaning. Their extreme high frequency is ideal for cleaning delicate parts, and they are typically used in clean- room environments.
Biomedical cleaners — From cost-effective benchtop cleaners to state-of-the-art consoles with endoscopic instrument flushing capabilities. Perfect for the hospital, surgical center and outpatient care customer.
Console systems — Available in aqueous or semi-aqueous process models to solve today’s high-tech cleaning challenges.
Automation systems — To reduce or eliminate the need for operator handing, providing a safer working environment, improved process consistency, and other efficiencies.
